This module contains the Lbitmap and Lpixmap classes. Button objects can use the Lpixmap with the :bitmap attribute. The unix utility ‘bitmap’ allows you to create and edit pixmaps. This module is used by Locana to determine the size of gif and jpeg images.

Status:

• works on gif and jpeg images
• works with pixmaps and pixmap files (.xbm extension)

To do:

• Add support for jpeg, gif, and bmp images
• Add support for converting between image formats
• Add support for xpixmap (.xpm)

History:

• 7/10/2002 - Added added data_stream_reverse_bytes for the mswin32 GUI binding. Basic pixmaps now work in the mswin32 GUI binding.
• 5/10/2002 - Added Lbitmap, and Lpixmap classes. The allow the button to use the :bitmap attribute. Renamed from locana_image_support.rb to l_bitmap.rb.
• 3/21/2002 - Started and completed.
